Salary

Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £26,860 to £30,513 per annum, with potential progression up to £37,701 per annum


About the Role

As a Student Advisor, you will provide information and guidance to support students with a range of issues including; welfare matters, academic issues, personal difficulties and mental health and wellbeing concerns.

About You

As well as having knowledge of student-related information within the higher education sector, you will have a strong background in advice and guidance, educated to degree level qualification (or equivalent) and preferably have an additional qualification in a related field of work. You will have experience of dealing with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, be skilled in discussing sensitive issues, and responding to challenging and emotive situations.
