About the Role

Applications are invited for the role of Student Administrator (Research Student Support) performing a selection of tasks associated with the delivery of teaching at postgraduate research level. Tasks include will include research student support, admissions, programme administration, event organisation, maintenance of web pages and scholarship administration. The role also provides support to the Research Manager and Directors of Graduate Studies.

About You

The successful candidate should be educated to Degree level or equivalent relevant experience and have significant experience in programme administration, detailed knowledge and understanding of higher education institutional procedures, regulations and codes of practice on student administration.

The School of English and Drama is internationally recognised for its excellent research and teaching. The School seeks to sustain and enhance a distinctive research and teaching profile and ensure a supportive and intellectually challenging environment. The School is home to almost 80 academic staff, over 800 UG students, 55 Masters students and 60 PhD students

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is part time (21 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date of mid-October. The starting salary will be Grade 4, £34,733 - £40,797 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
