We are looking for three people to join us in Programme Administration. Working as a Student Administration Officer within the Programme Support team is to make sure the student’s academic journey is as smooth as possible. We are involved in the maintenance and setting up of student modules on the virtual learning environment. We make sure that students have access to their assessment questions and submission links as well as the setting up of any exams they may need to take or providing information regarding their dissertations. Once assessments are marked, we are responsible for uploading marks, so that our students can have their awards confirmed and graduate.

We work closely together with our academic colleagues making sure the student has the best experience academically. We’re also involved in the running of SSLCs (Student Staff Liaison Committees) which allow students to feedback to university staff regarding all aspects of their university life. Working within Programme Support gives plenty of opportunity to develop both technical and personal skills and gives a thorough overview of the University of Sunderland in London experience.

To excel in this position, you will have proven experience in an administrative environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and have high attention to detail.  We are looking for excellent communication, interpersonal and communications skills. You will have strong customer focus and with a commitment to delivering a high level of service to students and staff at all times.
