We welcome applications to the position of Strategic Partnerships Director, a critical senior role within our University and School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing. 

About the Role

This is a key role in the University, and pivotal to the growth and development of partnerships across the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM). Reporting to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of School, the post-holder will be responsible for establishing the business partnership strategy for the School and implementing and maintaining a number of key strategic partnership collaborations within this overall strategy framework. You will have direct responsibility for growing the level of industrial, academic and government participation with Cranfield, nationally and internationally across a range of industry sectors and will be expected to be a key contributor to the shared technology goals of the strategic partnership models. You will also provide insight, and influence at a very senior level in the University to ensure the School’s education and research portfolio and capabilities retain a leading position in the market. 

About You

You will have a Masters level qualification in relevant discipline to School’s capabilities and/or equivalent significant experience at a very senior level in relevant field and role. You will also have experience leading major industrial partners on high value collaborative research projects and proven experience of managing high value multi-disciplinary projects within industry or academia.
