We are looking for an experienced, exceptional, proactive and enthusiastic leader to take on this role within the University. This newly created role will enhance the service provided to our students ensuring that accessing sports and activity is possible for all students. You will work to remove the barriers to having an active lifestyle and ensure accessibility.

The post requires someone who is comfortable playing a key role in the strategic direction of the Sports and Active life Team and who has experience in leading a customer focused service.

This role is for someone with strong communication skills and who enjoys working with students and young people and has a passion for engagement and wellbeing.

You will be solution focused and will have an understanding of the importance sport and activity has in building communities and promoting health and wellbeing. 

A strategic leader with experience in sourcing and securing funding is required in this new and exciting role. As well as being a champion for inclusivity and progress you will, find creative ways in which to enhance and promote the service both within the University and with external partners. 

This post requires a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which will be carried out after the interview. The appointment is conditional upon satisfactory clearance.
