About You

With experience of application development with a focus on the development of cloud software services, you will have experience or at least a strong understanding of machine learning and/or predictive modelling and be familiar with statistical techniques for data mining.

To be successful, you will have a proven ability to work successfully within a project team with a strong ability to analyse data. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

About the Role

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a ground-breaking project in the field of cloud computing and data analytics with a highly respected academic team and an innovative and successful company. 

The KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) will build significant new capacity in BEC Systems Integration and strengthen their position as a market leading data capture solution for supply chain logistics and manufacturing. The project will focus on the development of a scalable, cloud-based, software product infrastructure with novel data-driven stock control and dispatch applications. For the University, this project will allow for the demonstration of significant economic and societal impact of our research base.
