An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineering graduate to deliver a challenging technical project with the East Sussex based business, Lankelma. 

The project aims to embed current and emerging technologies and the capability to design and develop a software solution for enhanced data acquisition and processing technology into the business.  This, supported by geotechnical expertise, will facilitate rapid innovation of innovative sensor combinations, addressing future markets in the Cone Penetration Testing field.  

This position is a 21-month fixed term contract as a KTP Associate, to deliver a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project with the University of Brighton and Lankelma.  

This post will involve working closely with a second KTP Associate on the same 2-Associate funded project. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a BEng Hons (min 2:1) in a Computer Science or a Software Engineering related degree. Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or C# is essential, and you will be skilled in the areas of software design, web application development, database design, implementation and retrieval.  Knowledge of developing TCP/IP based applications is also required.
