The University of Bristol’s Langford Campus Abattoir is seeking to recruit an experienced full-time Slaughterperson.
The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a commercial abattoir and teaching environment.
Experience of working on manual lines with red-meat species is required and full WATOK Certificates of Competence for these species highly desirable. Butchery and further processing experience advantageous to the role.
A fundamental commitment to high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice, Food Hygiene and Animal Welfare essential.
Contract type: Open ended
Work pattern: Full time
Grade: F
Salary: £26,444- £29,605 per annum
School/Unit: Bristol Veterinary school, Langford Campus, BS4 5DU
Shift pattern: 35 hours per week
