£24174 to £28756 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The purpose of this role is to provide senior technical support to the School of Medicine, to plan and oversee the day-to-day running of laboratories, allocating resources and providing technical supervision and training in the use of equipment and techniques to relevant staff and students to ensure objectives are met. You will use your knowledge, experience, and skills in the development of laboratory techniques and processes, and provide support and guidance for research projects. You will be responsible for the upkeep of designated research laboratories as well as the use and maintenance of equipment. 

This is a full time, fixed term position for 15 months based in Derby at the University of Nottingham Medical School, Derby. Job share arrangements may be considered.
