Applications are invited for the post of Head of Professional Experiences at Aston Pharmacy School. Applicants must have a good first degree in pharmacy and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist.

The successful applicant will assume a senior leadership position within Aston Pharmacy School. They will lead on the development of our pharmacy professional experiences pathway – incorporating extensive liaison with our external partners across all sectors of pharmacy to advance the clinical capabilities of our students and to support our students in the development of their professional identities. They will also be the Pharmacy lead for the development of inter-professional education within the College of Health and Life Sciences professional healthcare portfolio, and lead on the creation of a coherent strand of high-fidelity simulation experiences for students across our programmes. Additionally, they will provide leadership to the academic team at Aston Pharmacy School to develop and enhance the teaching and scholarly activities of the school, with a focus on the practice of pharmacy.
