This role will be based on the University Campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Working with colleagues across IT, you will play a leading role in software delivery services to end user devices, ensuring they are stable, maintained and packaging requirements are met. This will include packaging of complex applications, as well as planning and co-ordination of BAU and software roll-out programmes, systems administration, and overseeing changes. You will be responsible for ensuring the license servers infrastructure is maintained. You will work with the Operational Lead to manage and improve software delivery management tools and processes, and scope, design and implement new solutions. You will also provide subject matter expertise in relation to software packaging and deployment and will work collaboratively with colleagues in End User Computing in the ongoing development of standards, processes and procedures. This will include training, mentoring and coaching colleagues in the software delivery technologies and processes.
