The post

The Faculty wishes to recruit a Senior Research Fellow to lead applied economics research within the multi-year grant funded by Prof Hauser’s UKRI Future Leadership Fellowship with the goal of identifying and reducing gender and racial inequality in the workplace.

About you

Applicants will be able to contribute to the Prof Hauser’s UKRI FLF research agenda and independently lead projects within this framework, demonstrating excellence and rigour in project management, analysis and publication strategies. Applicants need to demonstrate the ability (e.g. through prior work) to lead empirical projects in the domain of identifying and reducing gender bias in workplaces, especially through randomised controlled trials in a large multi-national firms.

The successful applicant will possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study and will be a nationally recognised authority in gender economics and possess in-depth understanding of data analysis and the literature around gender bias to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field. In addition, the successful applicant will provide academic leadership to research teams, lead and develop internal and external networks and develop links with external contacts in order to foster collaboration and generate income.
