Duties and Responsibilities
The post-holder will join the Department of Behavioural Science and Health at UCL to develop grants and undertake research on social factors in health, with a particular focus on social prescribing and children and young people
Specifically, the post-holder will be responsible for building the team’s partnerships with external collaborators in social prescribing and CAMHS services, writing and submitting funding applications, carrying out new empirical and theoretical research, undertaking dissemination activities, and providing teaching and research supervision.
Position available from 1st Jan 2022, for 18 months, (in the first instance) but is likely to be extended.
Key Requirements
Applicants are sought with a research background in social science or other relevant discipline and experience undertaking research on social prescribing, personalised care and social determinants of health, involving conducting trials or intervention studies involving human participants (especially children and young people).
An in-depth knowledge of research design and methods relevant to applied health or social research is also essential.
