Applications are sought for a three-year, full-time Senior Research Associate position in the Department of Paediatrics.
The researcher will work on an innovative medical device project which is a collaboration between the Departments of Paediatrics and Engineering, and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The key responsibilities and duties are to project manage the grant, engaging with stakeholders ranging from parents of babies on the NICU, clinical staff, to hospital management and the wider NHS. The successful candidate will oversee the engineering development of the medical device to meet the project's requirements, working with Cambridge Enterprise and other stakeholders to develop the commercial strategy. The postholder will be expected to contribute to and promote the continued innovation partnership between Paediatrics and Engineering.
Appointment at Senior Research Associate level is dependent on significant experience as a postdoctoral research associate or equivalent, with proven impact from authored publications.
