Applications are invited for a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher to work with Professor Andrea Cipriani on his NIHR funded project “Choosing the right antidepressant”. The aim of this project is to build a web-based platform where large and diverse datasets combining randomised and observational data will be used to inform shared decision-making at the individual patient level. The post is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.

This post is for a fixed-term (funded for 2 years from 1 August 2019).

You will build and curate a large dataset of randomised trials, observational studies and real world data from clinical registries from primary care and secondary settings. This will include managing a large group of researchers working in different fields and with different expertise (both locally in Oxford and remotely for the international collaborators).

You will have a PhD/DPhil in a relevant subject, along with relevant research experience, including experience of independently managing a research project. With excellent organisational skills, you will have experience of managing a team of researchers, both in person and remotely.

You will be required to upload a CV and a supporting statement/covering letter explaining how you meet the job requirements and details of two referees as part of your online application.

The closing date for this post is 12.00 midday on 6 March 2019.
