A position has arisen for a Senior Medical Simulation Technician within the Faculty of Health.

You will provide a Supervisory role, overseeing a team’s workflow, tasks and monitoring performance, schedules, rota’s and resolving daily issues.

You will provide and supervise teaching and technical support for all health-related activities in our Simulation and Skills Resource centre.  This will include organising, preparing, operating, servicing and maintaining a range of consumables, equipment, models, trainers and simulators. 

You will also support the administration and operational running of teaching technologies, such as classroom Audio Visual, phones, tablets, laptops and Interactive Displays, video creation and streaming across multiple devices, operating systems and networks.

You will Take a lead role and provide expert technical direction as necessary in the installation, configuration, and support of technical equipment, identifying and resolving problems using advanced troubleshooting techniques and provide advanced support to Students and Staff.

Previous technical experience in an educational or NHS setting is essential and a strong background supporting computer based high fidelity clinical simulators or similar, immersive environments, VR technology, Audio Visual and IT with strong networking experience.
