The role

Working as a senior member of the Curriculum and Qualifications Team, you will work closely with the other Managers and Associate Director, Curriculum and Qualifications in delivering the effective production and presentation of qualifications within the Institute of Educational Technology.

You will also provide ongoing operational management and oversight of Applaud qualification contributing to HEA accreditation work as required. You will be operating with autonomy and initiative to allow the academic staff to focus on the academic development and academic management of the qualifications. You will also be responsible for the line management of the Curriculum and Qualifications Professional Services team. 

Skills and experience

To be effective in the role you will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrable experience of working collaboratively in an academic/educational environment and the ability to be proactive and use your initiative.

You will have experience of successful project management with strong organisational and planning skills as well as previous experience of providing management or leadership to a team, either directly or as part of a wider context.
