Individuals should demonstrate an established research programme that aligns with one of our four research themes: Learning and Development, Health and Wellbeing, Society and Environment, Cognition and Neuropsychology. Applicants should have, or be close to being awarded, a doctorate (PhD) in Psychology, or have equivalent certified experience or expertise. Applicants should also have experience of teaching in the University sector. Evidence of a track record of research and publications and previous research funding or knowledge exchange activity will be an advantage, as would teaching experience on BPS accredited degree programmes (at UG or PG level). We would welcome applicants from all fields of psychology; however, we would be particularly interested in individuals who have expertise in the areas of Social Psychology, Forensic Psychology or Clinical Psychology. If applying with clinical psychology or forensic psychology expertise, being HCPC registered and / or holding British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist status in Forensic Psychology or Clinical Psychology would be an advantage.
