Salary Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £45,751 to £50,798 per annum, with potential progression up to £63,059 per annum (Lecturer) Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £55,753 to £61,942 per annum, with potential progression up to £76,988 per annum (Senior Lecturer)

Role Description

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to bring onboard a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer to join the Design Engineering community. You will generate significant research and teaching income through leading grant bids and developing and delivering teaching and short courses.

About You

You are expected to have a high impact, be internationally recognised with a PhD in Design Engineering or an equivalent topic e.g. Technology Development or Breakthrough Innovation. You will also be expected to have leadership experience, as the role will expect you to take on management and centre level responsibilities, write and secure quality research grants, and design and deliver new postgraduate-level teaching courses to expand the Design Engineering programmes and short course portfolio offerings.
