Salary: UH8 £44,263pa with potential to progress to £56,021pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
Location: College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield.

Main duties and responsibilities
You will participate in teaching, assessment and module management on the new Speech and Language Therapy degree apprenticeship programme. You will participate, as required, in the development and review of the programme including inter-professional developments across the School. You will contribute to the interview admissions team for the Speech and Language Therapy programme. In addition to this, you will contribute to the ongoing evaluation and review of the School’s activities. You will also undertake and contribute to Speech and Language Therapy
research and contribute to the administration of the School by undertaking additional roles, such as being a module lead and joining or leading teams involved in activities such as admissions, timetabling or programme support.
Skill and experience required
You will be an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, registered with HCPC and have recent academic and/or clinical experience in the UK. You will be expected to have a sustained interest in and knowledge of contemporary Speech and Language Therapy practice. In addition to this, you should have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as an ability to work without close supervision and work effectively as part of a team. In this role, you will need to be adaptable to change and be flexible to team and workload requirements.
Qualifications required
For this role, you must hold an Honours degree (or equivalent level 6 qualification) in Speech and Language Therapy, as well as a Master’s degree or close to completion of a Master’s degree (or equivalent level 7 qualification) in a relevant subject or substantial clinical experience as a Speech and Language Therapist. You must be registered with the HCPC as a Speech and Language Therapist.
