Salary: Grade 10 from £61,929 to £67,422 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £71,365 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution

Hours: Full-time (Part time considered)

The Division of Physiotherapy is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer. As a leading provider of both physiotherapy and post-registration advanced clinical practice education, and research, we are in an exciting phase in our UK and international activity. We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to work within a large, dynamic team who are passionate about shaping and delivering future physiotherapy education and research, and enhancing the University’s reputation as a national and international centre of excellence in healthcare education.

This advert is for a Senior Lecturer with specialist clinical and professional experience in cardiology or respiratory physiotherapy. You will have outstanding personal leadership skills, and be able to support colleagues to achieve sustained excellence in the development of innovative research and education. You will be working with some of the best clinical academics in the country and contributing to developing and implementing teaching and research, evaluating academic development, and building professional relationships.

The post has the option for the candidate to be appointed either of the below contracts:

-  Academic (Education) is for academics who wish to focus on education development, delivering teaching across a range of modules and to engage in educational / pedagogical projects.

-   Academic (Teaching and Research) is for individuals with a PhD in Physiotherapy or a related subject. You will be expected to engage in both teaching and on-going research in your field of expertise.
