The University of Lincoln is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Education to contribute to its Pharmacy provision. You will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, for student participation, and for creating a positive learning experience. You will focus on our pharmacy education and research and through engaging teaching, learning, assessment, and placements, will ensure our graduates are fully prepared for the Foundation Training year and are, therefore, fully compliant with GPhC standards.

Ideally you may be an experienced pharmacy academic that is looking for a new experience, equally you may well be a pharmacist who is interested in developing an academic career. The University would be interested in exploring a joint practice/academic post with partner providers if possible and suitable. You will join a diverse and committed inter-professional team who value collaborative working in teaching and research.

The University of Lincoln Pharmacy provision sits within the College of Health and Science and forms a part of a broader Health and Social Care portfolio that provides education to over 2000 students, across a range of undergraduate, postgraduate degrees, post registration continuous professional development, and apprenticeship programmes. The Health and Social Care portfolio has a base budget exceeding £20m with circa 150 academic and research staff, practice educators, and professional services staff. The College is forward-thinking and is keen to enhance our pharmacy education at pre- and post-registration levels alongside furthering our research portfolio.

The pharmacy provision is based in the Joseph Banks Laboratories within the Lincoln Science Park, at our Brayford Campus. It has access to a wide range of excellent teaching and research facilities.

As part of this role, you must be a current UK-registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
