This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term position for one year to cover maternity leave.

Summary of the role

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in nursing with the vision and knowledge to match ours. Ideally, we need a person with education leadership expertise and a track record of curriculum development, commitment to excellence in health and social care and to student and team members’ flourishing. The Senior Lecturer will lead on quality teaching and stage appropriate student learning experiences on the MSci Nursing programme and other educational developments. They will be required to lead on our ‘Fundamental Essentials of Nursing Care’ Pillar of Learning (See https://medicine.exeter.ac.uk/nursing/ourprogramme/pillarsoflearning/ ).

The Academy of Nursing and innovative MSci Nursing programme, launched in 2019, prepares students for exemplary nurse leadership which promotes and sustains excellence in care. Our Academy will create and develop a lifelong community of constantly curious and pioneering nurses at the forefront of regional, national and global innovation in care leadership, research and education.
