About the Role:
The Faculty of Health Education, Medicine and Social Care offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including doctoral level studies. Our new School of Medicine was established in 2018, and offers a five-year undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. We also offer a wide range of post graduate short courses and conferences. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research informed educational experience.

We are looking for a new team member to act as course leader for the current PG Cert and MSc Medical & Healthcare Education, develop and maintain an up to date and relevant curriculum and assessment.

With a degree and a PhD or professional Doctorate, you’ll have a current NMC or GMC registration, a PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching (HE) and a fellowship of HE Academy. With excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, you’ll have successful teaching experience at Higher Education level and/or formal health professional teaching in the healthcare context.
