We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Management in the Work, Employment, Organisation & Public Policy academic group, particularly in the following areas:

  • the digital transformation of work, employment and organisations;
  • quantitative methods applied to contexts of work, employment and organisations.

You will be involved in a range of education and research activities in the school in a highly collegial and collaborative manner as follows: 

  • Further developing a stronger international research and impact profile in business and management and attracting external research funding.
  • Teaching and marking at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels and contributing to curriculum design, development and enhancement.
  • Acting as personal tutor to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students; and supervising MSc and PhD students.
  • Demonstrating excellent citizenship and leadership in the school and contributing to wider University.
  • Proactively engaging in collaborative opportunities with the public, private and not-for profit/charitable sectors.
  • You have the valuable previous experience to conduct the role with high levels of professionalism and collegiality.
  • You hold a PhD in a relevant subject area.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
  • You have a strong business and management, interdisciplinary research portfolio/ambition and a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level.
  • You can demonstrate awareness of the academic needs of all kinds of students (e.g. undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral).
  • You have experience of leadership responsibility.
