The Association for Dementia Studies (ADS) is a Centre for Excellence in Dementia Care Research with a global reputation, based at the University of Worcester.  The ADS team has developed evidence-based, practical, and person-centred ways of working with people living with dementia and their families, across the NHS England ‘Well Pathway for Dementia’.  We do this through impactful, high-quality research, evidence-based education, and knowledge exchange.

We are currently advertising a fantastic opportunity for a person-centred dementia care focused academic to join our team of dementia experts.  

The post holder will engage in high quality research with internal and external partners. The post holder will also have the opportunity to utilise their expert knowledge and research to teach on existing, and develop new, accredited education and CPD programmes.  There will be also be opportunities to contribute to course and module leadership, as well as supervision of student research, including doctoral supervision.  All our activities are designed to impact significantly on the lives of people affected by dementia and their families.  

The successful candidate will join our committed and dynamic team and will work collaboratively with colleagues across ADS, The School of Allied Health and Community and the wider University.  This will include the potential to contribute to other inter-disciplinary research groups and units across the University.
