The Role

Recruiting HCPC registered Physiotherapists, with the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career in a higher education setting and would be suitable for those wishing to move from a clinical setting into higher education. Whilst HE teaching is not essential you must have experience of formal teaching, training and supervising students, and be able to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate courses and apprenticeships.

You must have experience working as either a First Contact Practitioner or an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in MSK.

You will be involved in the planning and delivery of the teaching on modules for students developing their skills and knowledge in this area advanced MSK practice.

You must have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to contemporary physiotherapy.  We ideally seek to employ a candidate who is at the forefront of new ways of working within the NHS demonstrating care, innovation and emerging management pathways. 

You’ll join the Department of Allied Health Professions and Life Sciences, one of the UK's leading centres of health education and one of the first UK Universities to offer Allied Health Professions Degree Apprenticeship courses.

You will be involved in supporting the delivery across our interprofessional portfolio and in addition, there may be opportunities to contribute to the wider health portfolio as appropriate.
