Salary Full time starting salary is normally in the range of range of £60,099 to £69,505 per annum with potential progression to £85,000 per annum

Role Description  

About the Role

This role will be to develop and manage the motorsport activity at Cranfield, from a teaching perspective with a particular focus on Motorsport engineering and management, including course marketing, promotion, management, and module delivery.

There will also be the opportunity to develop research proposals and support our commercial clients who span the Motorsport and public funding opportunities.

This role will be a core element of the future strategy for the continued development of the motorsport education provision, to ensure it maintains its leading position in the sector.

About You

This role would suit a highly professional, dynamic individual who enjoys working in a rapidly evolving environment. There is considerable variety in the role with the opportunity to be innovative. AVEC provides a highly dynamic environment which must be agile to meet the demands of its clients, whose plans are often enhanced and adapted at short notice. This is a characteristic of the industrial sectors in which we operate and due to the culture of continuous improvement embedded within the Centre. The postholder would actively support this culture, developing our portfolio of projects associated with Motorsport Engineering which will add value to our numerous commercial relationships and our educational programmes. Winning new clients as well as retaining existing customers is key to our success.

Additionally, the postholder will enjoy active participation in AVEC’s promotional activities including events and internal/external communications. The successful applicant will possess a very keen interest in vehicle technology and must enjoy adopting a hands-on and can-do attitude.
