The above part time (0.4FTE 2 days a week) role is available on a fixed term contract from January 2022 until 31 December 2022. 

About the role

The PG Dip Evidence Based Psychological Therapies for Children, Young People (CYP) and Families programme has been running at the University of Exeter for ten years, it is an established programme with a good track record of training competent practitioners across the South West. This role represents an exciting opportunity to support a team of committed professionals training the next generation of psychological practitioners.  We are seeking to appoint an Academic Lead role on the newer Autism and Learning disabilities pathway.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a team committed to developing a postgraduate diploma in psychological therapy for professionals working with children and young people who may have autism and or learning disabilities.

About you

The successful applicant will have a background in neuro developmental conditions and Autism with strong academic, conceptualisation and organisational skills. They will have experience of supervising others and leadership skills within either a clinical environment or HEI. HEI experience would be highly desirable. This post is offered on a total of 40% FTE and could me made up of one or more applicants, the course currently runs on a Wednesday and Thursday and therefore the successful candidate would need to be available on these days during term time.
