Are you passionate about developing others? Do you have experience of supporting the development of new educational approaches and the professional development of those teaching and supporting learning?

The University Teaching Academy at Manchester Metropolitan supports the delivery of our education strategy through its provision of development programmes for university staff and its leadership of strategic cross-institutional projects to enhance the experience and success of our students.

We are looking for an experienced academic developer who is passionate about improving student outcomes through supporting the development of our teaching and learning support approaches and communities.  You will have significant experience in planning and offering professional development support in relation to teaching, assessment and/or curriculum design to academic staff and the ability to apply your passion and enthusiasm to the development of others.  You will also demonstrate a critical and evaluative approach to your practice with a track record of scholarly outputs. Senior Fellowship of Advance HE or equivalent would be expected.

You will teach on our PGCert and/or MA in Higher Education, support our AdvanceHE Professional Standards recognition scheme and will work with academics, course teams, faculty education leads and a range of other stakeholders to support the development of academic practice at Manchester Met. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider work of the University Teaching Academy, including leading and contributing to projects and initiatives aligned with our Education Strategy.
