The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to work within the Digital Technology Services department of the University.
The successful candidate will become a key member of the Identity Management team, within the Technology Directorate, Cloud, Networks & Infrastructure section. This team is responsible for managing all the University's digital identities and access management systems to ensure secure and seamless access to university applications, data, and resources.
This role will be responsible for the administration and analysis of all identity management systems, directory and authentication services, user lifecycle and access management. Senior IAM infrastructure analysts provide expert specialist and technical knowledge of both cloud and on-prem systems, working closely with internal application and security teams and wider stakeholders to provide a robust and secure identity service for to students, staff, university partners and affiliates.
The team
Our Digital Technology Service has been configured not only to deliver excellent IT services, but also to drive major IT development and change. It is a large service focused on enabling, implementing and supporting a wide range of technology to meet the needs of the University Community.
This technology must be affordable, high quality, resilient and meet a broad range of needs.
DTS is made up of a Digital Architecture team and a large Digital Strategy area, which includes Digital Delivery (Applications; Cloud, Networks and Infrastructure), IT Support and Digital Change. The service is made up of over 120 FTE member of staff and is based across two centrally located buildings.
DTS works within a unified professional services model, ensuring that we can take a consistent and coherent approach to technology across the university. We work in partnership with other professional service areas such as Transformation, Student & Academic Services, and Estates & Facilities, and engage external expertise as necessary.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
