About the Role

We now have an opportunity for Senior Finance Business Partner to join Diamond’s finance team. The role provides an opportunity to take ownership of Diamond’s financial management function, ensuring all budgets, forecasts and internal reporting are accurately consolidated, there is alignment of assumptions and information is completed in a timely manner. 

You will contribute, at both the strategic and operational level, to the financial planning of the whole organisation to underpin the Vision, Strategy and Delivery Plans of Diamond. You will provide clear direction and guidance to Directors and Budget Owners and strive for continuous improvement.

Managing a team of four, you will guide their progress and provide support to them on how to manage unpredictable issues that have to be solved from a financial perspective. 

This role will continuously improve the financial management capabilities of Diamond; ensuring that the financial planning, analysis, and commentary are developed to facilitate informed and optimal decisions at all levels.

About You

You should hold a CCAB qualification, be highly motivated with significant experience in a senior finance position. 

You will demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Financial management - covering budgeting, forecasting and “value added” reporting.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Management accounting concepts and general accounting procedures.
  • Line management of a small team.
  • Finance systems.
  • MS office including Excel to pivot table and macro level.

You will have the ability to interpret financial data and have good communication and interpersonal skills; being able to effectively communicate financial elements to both financial and non-financial stakeholders and build successful relationships.
