Job Description

In this position the appointee will support and implement Instiute of Adult Learning's (IAL) efforts to (i) drive adoption of workplace learning through building capability of Training and Adult Education (TAE) practitioners and providers to design, develop and implement workplace learning solutions, including mentoring and coaching, and (ii) partner organisations to introduce and sustain exemplary workplace learning practices. The appointee will report to the Team Lead of Centre for Workplace Learning and Performance (CWLP) with the following professional responsibilities.

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and adapt work as required.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentations, plans and reports.
  • Provide administrative support on payment and claims matters for adjuncts and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Conduct project reviews and curate reports.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Undertake administrative and project tasks as required.
  • Brief adjuncts on the specific requirements of projects.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements and deadlines.
  • Facilitate change requests and ensure that the affected parties are informed.
  • Monitor performance metrics.
  • Meet budgetary objectives.
  • Plan and manage events if necessary

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor degree.
  • At least three years of experience is preferred.
  • Good enterprise-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Good written and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of project management.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge management skills.
  • Meticulous and able to work on tight deadlines. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
