This new full-time post is available immediately on a fixed-term or secondment basis for 6 months, with a focus on Doctoral Supervision training and resource development.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
The primary focus for this post is to contribute, working across the organisation, to building relationships and delivering enhancement through pedagogic innovation, and supporting our educator community to build capability and enhancement. The role holder will have excellent knowledge and skills in pedagogy and teaching practice, experience of change management in education and a track record of success in the area of Educator Development and Enhancement.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues in the Educator Development (ED) team in support of the University’s Education Strategy.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a range of existing and new education enhancement strategies and initiatives, as required.
- To design and deliver academic staff development for teaching and supporting students’ learning, and to support the work of the ED team across the three Faculties of the University as required.
- To lead and contribute to teaching and learning stemming from university-led initiatives, including leading the development of training workshops and resources for the Education Toolkit, and lead workshops to support academics developing new programmes
