Location: Bradford, ENGLAND
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 04 Oct 2020

12 month contract

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Marketing Officer with a commitment to making a difference and the experience and skills to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that's supporting and communicating the vision. At the University of Bradford, our Vision is a world of inclusion and equality of opportunity where people want to, and can, make a difference. We want to be known as the place to be to make that difference.

You will work on both the University's corporate marketing needs as well as those of its commercial services, such as the on-campus fitness centre. This is a diverse role that will require you to provide a full-service approach, including account and project management. Day-to-day, you could be writing marketing plans, updating the website, coming up with content ideas to support the promotion of a new initiative or research project, working with designers on a corporate brochure, advising on the use of branding, writing a speech for the Vice-Chancellor, or coming up with innovative new ideas that will build our reputation or engage the customers of one of our services.

As part of the award-winning Marketing & Communications Department, you will work within the Digital & Content Team and have very close links with the Communications Team. Key partners across the University will include Events & Partnerships, Alumni, the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Commercial Services, Professional Services and Research and Knowledge Transfer. The ability to work with all levels within an organisation, provide expert marketing guidance, and be able to influence and advise are important elements of this role.

Benefits of the role include 25 days holiday and 13 statutory and customary days, flexible working, a university nursery and fitness centre, generous employer contribution pension schemes, a reward scheme for shopping discounts, and a salary sacrifice scheme to assist you in purchasing items like childcare vouchers or a bicycle for commuting.

We're proud to be awarded University of the Year for Social Inclusion 2020 by The Sunday Times and we welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and LGBT+ and non-binary candidates.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

For enquiries prior to application, please contact Kate Green, Digital & Content Manager – k.green2@bradford.ac.uk , call (01274) 236767.
