- THE ROLE -

The Physician associate programme at Ulster University has now been established for 7 years, with a remit to diversify the NI healthcare workforce and support doctors in providing high-quality care to patients in hospitals and primary care. With HSC experiencing unprecedented demand, with waiting lists higher than never before and an exhausted and depleted workforce, it has never been more important to support high-quality education for new professionals.
The appointee will be a General Practitioner who can act as an influential and positive role model for students, and whose clinical credibility enables them to persuade and influence clinical colleagues in developing and maintaining high-quality clinical learning experiences for students. It is also expected that they will work with the course director to explore and develop employment opportunities for graduates.
- ABOUT YOU -

- Hold an undergraduate Degree in Medicine at a 2:1 or higher.
- Are registered with the General Medical Council.
- Are licensed to Practice with the General Medical Council and on the GP Register.
- Have an understanding of undergraduate medical education in the GP setting.
