About the Role

At this exciting point in our journey, in the first year of our new Corporate Plan  and People Strategy  we are seeking a new Senior Business Partner, with Employee Relations knowledge and experience. This is a wide-ranging HR role.

As an ER specialist, you will provide expertise and capacity to the university’s employee relations cases, and support our TU relationships and wider HR operations and projects.  In addition to this specialist role, you will provide a customer service driven business partnering service, supporting senior stakeholders at Cranfield’s Professional Services and Subsidiaries.  This includes MKU, an exciting new model university in Milton Keynes, and our commercial Airport. Reporting to the Head of People Operations and Inclusion, you will be supported by a HR Business Partner and a range of centralised university services.

About You

You do not need to have university sector experience, and we welcome applications from individuals who are able to influence and partner successfully with a range of stakeholders. You will be a senior HR generalist who is MCIPD qualified (or equivalent experience), with demonstrable ER experience. Your ER approach will be pragmatic and solutions focussed.
