Salary from £50,606 to £58,505 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £65,157 pa inclusive of London allowance 

The London School of Economics and Political Science is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. The Planning Division is integral in supporting and monitoring the School’s progress towards achieving its strategic objectives. The Senior Analyst (Education and Student Experience) supports a range of tasks undertaken across the School, primarily relating to the analysis of quantitative and qualitative student data to inform strategic decision making. 

Successful candidates will have demonstrable previous experience in the statistical analysis of data, preferably student data across the Higher Education Student Experience lifecycle. Candidates will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a qualification demonstrating statistical analysis or research capabilities. They will have experience in the manipulation of datasets from multiple sources in a variety of formats and be capable of writing reports, papers and briefing materials based on the outcomes of their statistical analysis. Confident in the interpretation and presentation of analysis and insights, candidates will have an eye for detail and the ability to lead and work as part of a team. Candidates must also have excellent IT, numeracy, written and verbal communication skills, and experience managing their and their team’s priorities to meet tight deadlines.
