  • Base Salary (HEO6) $91,644- $98,796 p.a. + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Senior Administration Officer manages the general administrative support of the Dean's Unit in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS).

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • manage general administrative services and operational support by the work area
  • prepare documents, respond to complex queries, explore matters, and source solutions for the work area
  • help analyse matters and provide advice on policy and procedures for the delivery of work outcomes
  • contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new initiatives and processes across the Faculty.
  • coordinate diaries, meetings and events and provide conference support
  • provide operational project management support during project organization and establishment.

About you

  • demonstrated experience in a high-level administrative support role
  • excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes
  • excellent administrative and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong problem solving skills
  • demonstrated experience effectively coordinating activities and projects
  • advance computer skills including MS Suite.
