Queen's University Belfast Security Service is seeking to appoint an experienced Security Guard to our team.

As a Security Guard you will be part of a team that maintains the safety and security of all students, all staff and all visitors to the University. You will also protect all University buildings and assets.

The hours for this post are 37 hours per week with average contractual overtime of 5 extra hours per week and additional 15% shift allowance.

You will be required to work 4 days on, 4 days off and will receive paid contractual overtime of 5 extra hours per week.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Valid Health and Safety Executive Recognised First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Valid Defibrillator (AED) Qualification.
  • At least 24 months’ recent relevant experience in the Security environment.
  • Valid UK driving licence (with manual transmission).
