We are looking for a Scientific Researcher to join Dr Rebecca Taylor’s pioneering research programme, which focuses on identifying novel mechanisms that mediate organismal responses to stress.

Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field of biology, or be due to complete doctoral studies within 6 months of applying, and should have experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetic techniques. A background in proteostasis, neurodegeneration, or phase separation; experience with C. elegans; and experience with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing would be an advantage. Applicants should also be creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated.

You will enjoy interacting with a dynamic interdisciplinary team sharing a passion for science and a commitment to explore the unknown.

The successful candidate will be awarded an 11-month fixed-term Scientific Researcher contract, with the possibility to extend.
