Rights Lab Research Fellow in Spatial Data and International Development (Part time, fixed term)

This role is part of the University’s Rights Lab. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will deliver research, stakeholder engagement and impact for grant-funded work that combines quantitative and qualitative methods to deliver new estimates of trafficking/modern slavery prevalence. The research will use methodologies from across disciplines and novel streams of data, and the candidate will take a mixed methods research approach to collect and analyse primary and secondary data on prevalence, typologies, and the factors and processes that create vulnerability to trafficking and forced labour. In addition to delivering research towards high-quality research publications and project reports, the role-holder will help to develop and coordinate relationships with external research partners and stakeholders and deliver knowledge exchange towards impact. The role may involve travel, field work in challenging environments, desk-based research, and engagement with a wide range of external organisations in the country of focus.
