The University of Bristol Residential Facilities Team are currently looking for several roles, working across multiple locations within the North Village within our student residential properties as part of our extensive cleaning team.
Various part-time positions are available. These roles will require a flexible approach to working as you will not be allocated to a specific Hall but will be expected to work across any of the halls in the North Village, however due to the nature of the work there is a degree of flexibility that can be adopted of when hours of work are scheduled.
The responsibilities include carrying out general cleaning, other related domestic duties and assisting the Supervisor in ensuring that a safe, clean and hygienic environment is well maintained within the student halls of residence.
The post holder will have an awareness and understanding of basic health and safety issues. Essential skills include:
- The ability to interact well with both staff and students.
- A reasonable level of literacy is required, in order to maintain accurate records.
- Good understanding of cleanliness & hygiene.
- Prior experience is beneficial, but not necessary.
