The University of Southampton is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide, and it is our people that collectively drive our success. We need your help drive our reward, recognition, and benefits portfolio, making sure it attracts, motivates, and retains the very best people so that we can continue to change the world for the better.

An exciting opportunity has come about for one individual to join the University's Reward and Recognition Team. This is a varied role which covers a number of Reward policies and procedures, the delivery of them within the organisation, and support offered to both academic and Professional Services aspects of the University. This role will also be involved in project work to help improve the employee proposition, in order to attract and retain the best through an equitable, inclusive, and transparent reward, recognition, and talent management framework.

You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively, with an interest in Reward, Recognition and Talent Management.  You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a positive approach to managing a busy workload whilst ensuring attention to detail. Ideally, you’ll have a good knowledge of the higher education sector.

In return we will provide a great benefits package that includes a contributory pension scheme, holiday allowance of 44 days (comprising of 30 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays and 6 University Closure days (full-time equivalent)), subsidised health and fitness facilities, a cycle-to-work scheme and a range of discounts.

For more information about this opportunity, please get in touch with David Wayman, Reward and Recognition Manager at [email protected] .
