A vacancy has arisen for a Resource Support Assistant to join the established Campus Services Team at Northumbria University.  

Ensuring that every member of the University community has a positive experience is essential – we are proud that the Campus Services team play a significant role in the delivery of a first class customer experience to staff, students and visitors.  The role will primarily oversee the day-to-day operation and administrative tasks associated with the University’s car parking permit scheme and corporate travel schemes, working collaboratively with other Services to ensure that the customer receives an excellent service.

The Campus Services Team provides a number of essential services across the University campuses in Newcastle upon Tyne as well as satellite campuses in London and Amsterdam. Supporting over 30,000 students and 3,000 staff, the team maintains over 3 million square feet of space. 

Experience of working as part of a team, and in a customer focused environment is essential. This position would suit individuals who are used to working in a busy, forward-facing role both independently and as part of a team. Individuals should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as enjoy problem-solving and trouble-shooting challenges.
