Applications are invited for a research support/technician position in the group of Dr Kate McDole at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) to provide research support for a programme investigating the morphogenesis of the early mammalian embryo. 

The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in biology or biochemistry or a related subject. You will have basic bench work skills and experience or theoretical knowledge of basic molecular biology skills/techniques (e.g. PCR, gene cloning) and be able to demonstrate an aptitude to plan and carry out experiments, collate and analyse data. Non-essential but desirableexperience in the field of development, with particular emphasis on mammalian development and mouse colony administration, will be advantageous.
