Applications are invited for the part-time post of Research Support Administrator within the Academic and Research Team, part of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Working as part of the Research Support Team, within the Academic and Research Team, being led by the Research Support Team Leader, the Research Support Administrator, plays a key role to providing a range of administrative support for the College, including the three Research Institutes (AIPT, EBRI and ASTUTE).  

The Research Support Administrator is the front-line point of contact for both academic / research staff and PhD students. Delivering administrative functions to support research activity across the College to include; purchasing, facilities management and meeting management.

You should be educated to A Level or equivalent standard, with strong IT skills. Excellent administrative, communication, organisational and team-working skills are essential. The ability to co-ordinate a wide range of activities and to communicate effectively when dealing with a wide range of contacts is also essential.
