The post-holder will provide specialist statistical expertise and leadership to support the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical research studies within iREACH Health. The role will support a portfolio of complex clinical trials and data-enabled research activities across academic and industry partnerships.
The post-holder will operate with a high degree of autonomy, working within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver high-quality, efficient, and innovative clinical research, including digitally enabled trials and real-world data studies. The role will also contribute to research development, funding applications, and academic outputs.
About the Person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
- Have obtained or about to obtain a PhD in a subject related to biostatistics or in a discipline in a related area of professional practice.
- Substantial relevant experience in statistical analysis of health or clinical data
- Demonstrable experience of applying statistical methods to complex research problems
- Proficiency in a range of statistical software (e.g. R, Stata, SAS, SPSS or equivalent)
- Experience in data management, cleaning, and validation.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
