We are seeking a Research Skills and Culture Officer to support researcher development, research culture and responsible research practices across the University. Working with colleagues in Research, Partnerships and Innovation and the Doctoral College, you will deliver initiatives that enhance researcher skills, wellbeing and experience while promoting collaboration, integrity and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver researcher development and research culture programmes.
- Support implementation of the University's Research Culture Strategy.
- Promote research integrity, ethics, governance, research security and trusted research.
- Build effective partnerships across academic and professional services teams.
- Monitor and evaluate initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and impact.
About you
You will have:
- Experience delivering programmes, training or initiatives in a research, higher education or professional environment.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience evaluating activities and using evidence to improve outcomes.
- Knowledge of researcher development, research culture or related agendas.
- A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Knowledge of research governance, integrity or the wider UK research policy landscape would be an advantage.
This hybrid role requires attendance on campus 2 days per week.
