Full time starting salary is in the range of £37,684 - £47,105 per annum (37 hours per week)


We are looking for an experienced research manager/bid developer who understands the UK Higher Education research funding environment to support the development of high-quality grant applications.

About the Role

A short-term vacancy for an experienced candidate to support the review and development of research funding applications, working within the Research Grant Support Team. The Research Grants Facilitator will be a port of call for public funding opportunities for the organisation and academic community, with a focus on delivering pre-award support for external grant funding applications, representing the University when dealing with external funding bodies and professional organisations.

About You

We are looking for an experienced research manager/bid developer who understands the current research funding environment within the UK Higher Education sector to support the development of high-quality research grant applications. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant previous experience (at least 2 years) of working in a similar role. You will be able to build relationships at all levels, working systematically, independently and with good attention to detail. It is essential that you have excellent oral and written communication skills including writing, editing and presentation skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
